Very strong as advertised. Here's how I installed it - one man job. I dug a hole to the proper depth plus 6 inches. I filled the hole with 3 inches of crushed stone bought at the hardware store. I also bought a white plastic pipe fitting that fit inside the 2 3/4" inner diameter of the pipe. I drilled holes in the base of the plastic piece to let water escape.
